Fox News talks Virgin Cruises
After their big kickoff announcement in June, Virgin Cruises has been relatively quiet. Their debut is years away and they aren't selling any cabins or cruises yet. However, there is still plenty of work underway. Fox News interviewed Virgin Cruise CEO Tom McAlpin about the new line and how they will differ from other cruise lines.
Much of what McAlpin shared was already known, but he provided two glimpses that should make Virgin stand out. The desired simplicity in an era when even booking a cruise has become complicated and the disinterest in families. Virgin will have kids facilities but they are not going to put the emphasis nor the marketing power on families like other lines have.

The above picture (via Cruise Hive) offers a glimpse into the new look and sheer size of Richard Branson's latest venture. The ships would be some of the largest at sea and hold over 4,000 passengers.
Regardless of the suit, Virgin Cruises is still going forward and should be sailing in the near future.
