Travel + Leisure on the Thomas Keller-Seabourn partnership
Celebrity Chefs are not new to cruise lines. But Thomas Keller is not your typical food star. He built his reputation on uniquely prepared dishes from local sources in an extremely exclusive and intimate setting. When he signed his deal with Seabourn, many wondered how he could recreate the French Laundry or Per Se experience at sea. Travel + Leisure has some of the answers.
In the Q&A, Brooke Porter Katz asks Keller about his plans and when and on which ships Seabourn guests will be able to eat his new creations. Keller gives the sense that he's not just going to slap his name on the Seabourn menus. It sounds as if he will stay involved and assure that Seabourn passengers get a true Thomas Keller experience.

How does an 89-night cruise sound?
Doesn't the typical seven-day cruise always seem too short? If you have three months to spare and more than $54,000 lying around, Seabourn has a deal for you! The luxury line announced a diverse and exotic 89-night cruise around the Pacific. The 2017 itinerary starts in Singapore, hits dozens of major Asian ports, crosses the Pacific and wraps things up in Seattle. Smaller segments of the trip will be available for booking.
2017 will be a big year for the luxury liner. As Haute Living reminds us, Seabourn will also debut their new ship the Encore, as well as new Caribbean options for passengers who want one of the most unique offerings at seas.
